A two year contract for the provision of an independent debt advice service for Phoenix residents. A responsive appointment service is anticipated and will be expected to assist residents with resolution of debt matters in connection with (but not limited to): priority debts including council tax, non-priority debts, benefit challenges, benefit claims, possession claims and family/ housing/ legal matters.
Scope of service to include:
– Mixed-media appointments delivered directly to residents
– Carry out initial assessments
– Build relationships
– Case management
– Provide advice and guidance on all debts
– Give advice on budgeting
– Advice on claiming correct benefits / entitlements
– Family/housing/legal
– Appeals
– Resident workshops/training
