The appointed Consultant is expected to: • Employ all relevant project management processes, including project planning, risk assessment, change management etc • Contact schools and obtain permission to undertake Type 2 Fire Risk Assessments. • Carry out Fire Risk Assessments of schools and record, write up and report all required information. • Produce a corresponding report for each school in Appendix 1, which includes an assessment of any fire risks or issues identified and remedial actions. Lewisham reserves the right to add schools to or remove schools from the lists included in Appendix 1. • Produce an overview report summarising any high and moderate risk issues across the school estate, Determine whether the latest fire risk assessments of each school would be considered ‘suitable or sufficient’ under Section 9 (1) of the Fire Safety Order.
