Dublin City Council proposes to establish a Framework Agreement for the appointment of a Coordinator for the Dublin City Student Enterprise Programme for the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Dublin City. The period of the established Framework Agreement will be for one (1) year, with option to extend annually for up to three (3) years, at the sole discretion of the client, subject to a maximum of four years, subject to satisfactory performance, continued business needs and budget constraints. The programme is designed by the National Student Enterprise Committee (https://www.studententerprise.ie) and must be run in keeping with national and local guidelines including Child Protection and Health and Safety. The contract/framework agreement covers two (2) aspects:
(i) Student Enterprise Supports (2nd Level)
(ii) Student Enterprise Awards (2nd Level)
The Specification of Requirements outlines requirements which may be required to deliver a blended programme using online learning and/or a mix of both online and classroom venue workshops and a blended Awards Final in appropriate circumstances. The preferred method of delivery of the services will be continuously reviewed and updated in line with Government advice and guidelines in respect of public health measures for Covid-19. Students from 1st year to 6th year get to set up and run their own business and find out what it’s really like to be an entrepreneur by taking part in this enterprise education learning programme. LEO Dublin City objective is to have a strong focus on the Enterprise services to the schools including workshops and teacher engagement as well as getting as many students as possible to take part in the Enterprise process of running their own business. The Coordinator will work closely with LEO Dublin City and be the liaison between LEO Dublin City and the Schools. For further information please refer to attached documentation. Please note that this project is subject to funding.
