Information we collect

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”). When you subscribe to ST services, you provide your email, industry and country preference.
Additionally, optionally you may add your title, company name, telephone number, address and other information (which might help us provide you with a more accurate and relevant service). Users are able to change their display name at any time through User Settings. Display name is only used within your ST account, and is not provided to any user in other accounts or other third parties. Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular feature. We will also collect credit card and related information when you subscribe to certain ST services, and you need to process payment for our services.

We collect only aggregate information concerning which pages visitors access or visit and any information volunteered by the visitor, such as survey information and/or site registrations. We analyze only the aggregate information provided by our Web site visitors with the goal of improving the content and services offered on our Web site. Only when specifically requested by Web site visitors will the information we collect be used to respond to visitors’ inquiries, fulfill e-mail messaging programs, and notify visitors about new content or services on our Web sites.

Our use of your information

Our disclosure of your information

a. External Service Providers We do not disclose your personal information to external service providers.

b. Internal Service Providers for Our Operations We may use third parties that we refer to as internal service providers to facilitate or outsource one or more aspects of the business, product and service operations that we provide to you (e.g. couriers, Canada Post, and bill collection) and therefore we may provide some of your personal information directly to these internal service providers. These internal service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit their use of the personal information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced ST related operation.

Legal Requests In an eventual response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorized us to) disclose user’s name, city, state, telephone number and email address.

Any details you give us, and from which we can identify you, are held and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The nature of the Service may also result or require us to have access to the materials, information, and content you upload to the service. By uploading this information to the Service, you agree that Simplify Tenders may have access to file names for database purposes, but not the actual file content.

To allow us to perform our contract with you: When you purchase services from us, a contract between you and us will have been entered into. In order for us to fulfil our obligations under such contract, we will need to collect and process your personal information, including payment information. Account, payment & billing information

Payments are handled by external service providers (“Stripe”). We will not store your Credit Card number. Transmission of credit card information will be in an encrypted format. In addition to our encryption standards, your ST account information is password-protected. You are responsible for the safety of your password and should not disclose your password to anyone. We will store your billing address for receipt display purposes, and your company billing address and bank information for wire transfer purposes.

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. This technology does not collect an individual visitor’s identifying information; rather, this information is in an aggregate form such as login, language, browser, font size and other display and experience preferences – so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

Accessing, reviewing and changing your personal information

We offer you the ability to automatically review and change the personal information you submit to us by logging into ST and entering the new information yourself. Generally, we prefer not to modify your personal information based upon your request but it is possible to do so. You can change your password, email address, contact information, financial information and user preferences by going to Profile Settings and selecting the Save button. You must promptly update your information if it changes or is inaccurate.

Support, communication & feedback

Support requests sent by you through ST support email will remain private.

Any comments or materials sent to us, including, but not limited to, ideas, questions, comments, suggestions, feedback or the like regarding any Services or any other products or services of ST (collectively, “Feedback”), is non-confidential and shall become our sole property. We shall have no obligation to you of any kind, monetary or non-monetary, with respect to Feedback and shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, exhibit, display, transform, create derivative works from and distribute the Feedback to others without limitation or obligation.

ST will send a welcoming email to verify your new account. We also send out invitation emails to people you have invited to join your account. You can always request a password recovery email from ST.

We might email users for billing related purposes, and will occasionally send out announcements related to ST service in general.

Links to other sites

Our website may link to other websites outside of our control or ownership, i.e. linking to an institution/company website, news website, and you are advised to read the Privacy Policies of each website you visit – as they are not under our control.

Security

Simplify Tenders operates over Secure Sockets Layer protocol (HTTPS), so that the information exchange between you and Simplify Tenders is encrypted. We use a valid SSL certificate from major service providers and have appropriate security measures in place in our servers and physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

While we strive to protect your Personal Information, no data transmission over the Internet is guaranteed to be 100% secure. Thus, ST cannot ensure and does not warrant the security of any information during transmission to or from our Site, and you submit information to us at your own risk.
